The One Who Remembers ~ Crowdfunding

It’s happening! My new album The One Who Remembers is fresh out of the recording studio, ready to press for playing or streaming, to be released this spring.

It takes a LOT of funds to make and prepare an album for release. As an independent artist, I do not have the support of a record label, so I had to provide all of those funds up front.

I am asking for your help to raise $10,000 this month to help recoup some of those expenses.

There are several ways you can contribute financially to these efforts:

  • Join me March 9, 5:00pm PT live in Northeast Portland *and* live streamed for my Album Funding Launch Show. Details here.
  • Pre-purchase your DIGITAL DOWNLOAD of the album for any amount
  • Pre-purchase your PHYSICAL CD + digital download of the album for $20 or more
  • Pre-purchase your VINYL copy + digital download of the album for $35 or more
  • Donate a larger amount of your choice – $50? $100? $250? In addition to receiving a physical copy (CD *or* VINYL) + digital download of the album, you’ll be supporting not just my efforts put into this album, but those who provided their *essential* input, as well: Steve Drizos, the engineer who recorded and mixed all the tracks; Jon Neufeld, who mastered the album for digital, physical, and vinyl release; Vicki Green, production consultant and vocal tracks producer; and studio musicians Jenny Conlee, Kathryn Claire, Dale Jones, Aaron Elliot, and Steven and Jess Patton.

I’m in! How do I donate?

In order to keep track of who has pre-purchased what version of the album and where to send it (or whether you’ll pick up in person), please make all of your donations through this Album Pre-Order Page. I’ve put in some suggested donation levels you may choose from, if you’d like to donate beyond the pre-order pricing.

I can’t donate financially, but I would still love to support you!

Oh friend, I hear you on that one! YES, there are really helpful ways to support this album release without donating any money:

  • Follow me on Facebook and/or Instagram, and share my upcoming posts about the album with your community.
  • For your IRL community, share or send physical postcards (stamps provided!) – contact me here and I’ll send you some!
  • Volunteer at an upcoming album release event, including a Potholder Party, Pre-Order Pickup / Listening Party, and the Album Release Show. More details coming on all of these events, contact me here and I’ll keep you in the loop!
