Our recent Ukulele Melodies Workshop Series was so successful, we are doing it again! Each two-hour workshop focuses on ukulele melody arrangements to incorporate into your sing’n’strum playing or as stand-alone pieces.
Learning to play instrumental melodies on your ukulele is a great way to deepen the musical knowledge you already have, and expand your repertoire of skills. Learn to read music and/or tablature, get to know your fretboard better, and grow your confidence in your own playing, one piece at a time. You do not need to know how to read music to participate. However, I do recommend participants have some basic knowledge of music notation or tablature for ukulele.
Each workshop will cover different material, so you don’t need to register for all three workshops. However, I record each workshop and post to a private link for review after class, AND a whole package registration gets you a discount. 🙂

- Live on Zoom, registered participants will receive the class link via email
Registered participants will receive a reminder email with class materials a couple days prior to the workshop, so early registration is encouraged. Materials include music notation AND tablature for maximum access to learning. I’m still in the process of deciding what pieces I’ll be teaching, but in recent months, we’ve learned to play folk traditionals Shenandoah and Nine Hundred Miles, as well as solo arrangements of traditional rounds Hine Ma Tov and Dona Nobis Pacem.
This workshop is recommended for ukulele players who:
- are familiar with reading musical notation and/or tablature on the ukulele
- are comfortable playing melodies on the ukulele in the key of C
- are willing to take risks and try something new 🙂
