Last year, I embarked on my first Pacific Northwest tour with songwriting colleague and dear friend Jaspar Lepak. It went so well, we’re doing it again!
Our tour includes both public shows (ticketed or free) and private house concerts (donation-based).
Take note below of public links for tickets and/or location information for shows at established venues, most with food options for dinner or happy hour.
House concerts are lovely, more intimate way of experiencing live music. They are typically hosted in someone’s home and all donations go directly to the artist(s). Sometimes these concerts include a pre-show potluck or happy-hour-like snacks and beverages are provided. Why this tour?
Jaspar and I are longtime friends and collaborators, and always love the chance to collaborate on a special evening of original music. Rooted in the landscapes of our lives and the natural world, we hope our songs invite reflection, connection, and honest expression—creating a performance that feels both intimate and expansive. With so much in the world demanding our attention, we really cherish these in-person opportunities to be in the moment together and want to make sure it’s enjoyable and meaningful for you, too!
While we each grew up in different areas of the country, we love coming together for this tour through the Pacific Northwest in its peak season. The ocean, the mountains, and – of course – the wildflowers offer us powerful reminders … both of our insignificance in the greater natural world as well as the vital role we can play in collaboration with our fellow species.
Being an artist is just one way of being the world, but we believe strongly in the work we do. Artists find connections between things you wouldn’t usually think have anything in common and try to present those connections in a kind of story. We tell these stories to take you away from the present moment for a bit, but then – if we’re doing it right – we bring you right back to it with renewed awareness of the world around you. We certainly strive to entertain, but it only really works if you’re willing to take the risk and go somewhere with us that, perhaps, you’ve never been before. I promise, we will not let you down. 😊
Who are we again?
Jaspar Lepak (www.jasparlepak.com) is a singer-songwriter whose music is poetic, resonant, and “always evocative” (Mostly Minnesota). Shaped by the places she has called home—Tucson, Seattle, Durban, and Minneapolis—her songs carry an extraordinary emotional depth. Known for her clear, pure voice and deep attention to the natural world, Jaspar writes with honesty, tenderness, and quiet defiance. Her 2024 release So Strong—inspired by love, loss, motherhood, and reproductive justice—debuted at #6 on the Folk Radio Chart.
Avery Hill (you know me … you’re already here!) is a singer-songwriter, storyteller, and teaching artist known for her thoughtful lyrics, intricate melodies, and warm, engaging presence. Her 2024 full-length album The One Who Remembers explores memory as a portal through time—linking past, present, and future as she recalls the hard choices made that hard times require. Her latest release, the EP Face to Face (2026), is an introduction to her creative work on the ‘ukulele after over a decade of teaching and performing at camps and festivals. Whether on stage or in the classroom, Avery brings humor, heart, and insight to her work.
