Description
There are several layers to the music we hear. As we open our ears to listen for a layer deeper, and another layer deeper, and so on, we improve our musicality and gain more appreciation for everything there is to hear in a song. Let’s open up our ears and listen together!
What will I learn?
This workshop will introduce you to some ear training exercises that you can incorporate into your practice at home. Some exercises are helpful on their own, while others are best integrated into the practice of a song. By the end, you’ll be ready to dive into your own repertoire of music to apply your new learning to your own practice.
I recommend this workshop for players who are comfortable with:
- singing to themselves
- taking risks to learn new techniques and material
I’m in! When and where?
This workshop meets online only, live on Zoom:
